The training courses noted on this page are generally targeted at water industry operations staff. Courses offered range from accredited National Water Training Package units through to short courses covering specific water industry issues.

Whilst WIOA is happy to inform interested persons or organisations about the variety of courses on offer, WIOA is not involved in any form of independent assessment of any of these courses and does not endorse any of the courses as suitable for the industry or operational staff. Hydramet - Chlorine & Sodium Hypochlorite Short Courses

Designed for plant operators who work with chlorine or sodium hypochlorite. 

Hydramet are pleased to announce that their popular Chlorine Operator’s training course has now been accredited to the equivalent unit in the Water Training Package.

Simmonds & Bristow - Course Calendar

Smart Water Research Centre

The Smart Water Research Centre is a strategic partnership that builds, shares and applies new knowledge to improve water cycle management.  Our Education and Training Program is being further developed, building on our original Activated Sludge Course which has been running for over 10 years, and is University accredited.  We are now working towards delivering a suite of short courses that will eventually fulfil identified training gaps in the water industry and additional certification requirements.
