The training courses noted on this page are generally targeted at water industry operations staff. Courses offered range from accredited National Water Training Package units through to short courses covering specific water industry issues.

Water Industry Training Centre - Course Calendar
The Water Industry Training Centre is located at Deakin University’s Geelong Campus, Victoria. It maintains comprehensive training facilities which are used for in-centre training and off-campus training at customer locations.

Simmonds & Bristow - Course Calendar
Simmonds & Bristow has been providing training to the Water & Wastewater Industry and the Laboratory Services Industry for more than 15 years. The training team takes a hands-on approach to teaching, with an emphasis on practical learning and on-site delivery. Training courses are either held at the client's facility, or at S&B's dedicated training facility in Rocklea, Brisbane.

S mart Water Research Centre
The Smart Water Research Centre is a strategic partnership that builds, shares and applies new knowledge to improve water cycle management. Our Education and Training Program is being further developed, building on our original Activated Sludge Course which has been running for over 10 years, and is University accredited. We are now working towards delivering a suite of short courses that will eventually fulfil identified training gaps in the water industry and additional certification requirements.
