Founded in 1944 in Bluffton Indiana, USA, Franklin Electric is a global leader in the production and marketing of systems and components for the movement of water and automotive fuels.
Recognized as a technical leader in its specialties, Franklin serves customers around the world in residential, commercial, agricultural, industrial, municipal, and fueling applications.
Franklin Electric has been supporting the Australia water industry since 1962 when it established a manufacturing and distribution operation in Dandenong Victoria. Over the following decades Franklin Electric submersible electric motors became the leading specified and accepted borehole motors being installed and operated across all municipal, irrigation and related water industries.
In 2004 after reviewing global consolidation of water industry pump manufacturers, Franklin Electric decided on a strategic change to introduce a comprehensive and broad range of water system pumps for the water industry.
In 2007 this strategic change was introduced into the Australia market with Franklin Electric releasing it reliable range of FPS pump products. At that time the company started to sell its pump and motor products directly to the pump dealer network in addition to the pump OEMs. In mid 2007 Franklin Australia relocated back to Dandenong South to a modern and larger office and warehouse complex to meet future needs of our growing water system customers.
In 2010 Franklin Australia operates a broad and experienced network of over 600+ FE Dealers to sell and support its trusted and reliable water systems pumps and motor products.
