AquaArmour™ is the first of a number of technologies that Aqua Guardian Group has commercialised after 5 years of R&D.

AquaArmour™

AquaArmour™ is a world leading, cost effective, environmentally friendly modular evaporation and algal control system for large scale deployment on major water storages.  Evaporation loss on a country’s potable water supply is enormous and expensive.  In Australia alone, evaporation loss represents approximately four times the total annual rainfall of the country.  AquaArmour™ has been independently proven to save 88% of evaporation loss.

AquaArmour™ is deployed to a maximum coverage of 80% of the total water surface area. Furthermore, some of the additional significant benefits dependent upon the water covered are- it reduces water body temperature, inhibits algal growth, suppresses wave action and reduces bank erosion.  AquaArmour™ is extremely cost competitive, cheaper and more environmentally friendly than alternative methods in providing water, such as desalination or recycling waste water.
