The Water Industry Operators Association of Australia (WIOA) is a national non-for-profit association with a primary role of facilitating the collection, development and exchange of quality information between people undertaking operational roles in the water, wastewater and recycled water industries.

SA Interest Day Wastewater - 8 March at Bolivar WWTP

WIOA extends an invitation to members and their guests to join other water industry operators to attend a SA Operations Interest Day and the announcement of the inaugural winner of the WIOA South Australian Operator of the Year for 2016. More information and to register.

Good Luck to the TasWater sample in the International Water Competition

WIOA and TasWater have entered the Barrington WTP into the Berkeley Springs International Water Competition. The sample will represent Australia against the world's best and we are hoping it will bring home a Gold Medal when the winners are announced on February 26.

Who provides the Best Tasting Tap Water in in NSW/ACT?

The award for the Ixom 2017 NSW/ACT Best Tasting Tap Water will be judged and presented as part of the NSW Water Operations Conference & Exhibition to be held in Canberra. All providers in NSW and the ACT are invited to submit a sample for this prestigious award.
