ABSTRACT


This paper describes the trial and subsequent introduction of Polyaluminum Chlorhydrate as a replacement primary
coagulant for liquid Alum Sulphate in the potable water treatment process at the Glenmore Water Treatment Plant.

Glenmore Water Treatment Plant is managed and operated by the Rockhampton Regional Council Water Group, which is
located in Rockhampton on the Tropic of Capricorn in Central Queensland Australia.
