WIOA Weekend Seminar & AGM

The 2017 Weekend Seminar and AGM will be held on the weekend of the 25 & 26 February 2017 at the Homesglen at Eildon. The weekend is free for members and is designed to be fun, informative and a great way to network and meet other WIOA members. Places are limited to the first 50 members to register.

The Queensland Advisory Committee will be conducting a Charity Bowls Day on Friday 17 March 2017. Book that RDO now and join other WIOA members and supporters in this networking opportunity in Yandina. Nominate your Outstanding Operator in NSW

Nominations for the NSW 2017 Operator of the Year Award are now open. The NSW Water Directorate sponsors this award each year to reward excellent performance, initiative and all round attention to detail by an operator of water or wastewater treatment facilities. Nominations close on 10 February.

QLD 2017 Conference Call for Papers & Posters

We are accepting abstracts for the technical program for the 2017 Queensland Conference to be held in Loan on 7 & 8 June. Share your experiences with others at this important event for the Queensland Water Industry. Abstracts close on 22 February.

TasWater wins the Ixom Best Tasting Tap Water in Australia Competition

WIOA is pleased to announce the Barrington WTP in Tasmania (TasWater) as the winner of the Ixom 2016 Best Tap Water in Australia competition. Barrington and TasWater will get bragging rights for the next 12 months and will go on to represent Australia at the International Water Tasting Competition held in the USA.
