The Water Industry Operators Association of Australia (WIOA) is a national non-for-profit association with a primary role of facilitating the collection, development and exchange of quality information between people undertaking operational roles in the water, wastewater and recycled water industries.

Share your experiences at the WIOA Victorian Conference
Individuals are invited to submit an abstract for consideration for posters to be displayed at the WIOA Victorian Conference to be held in Bendigo on 6 & 7 September. Abstracts for operational posters have been extended to 19 May 2017.
Queensland Operators - Opportunities to be Recognised

Members Opportunity - $6000 in PD with the Kwatye Award
WIOA members are encouraged to apply for this prestigious award by 20 July 2017. The award aims to create positive change in the Australian water industry by investing in the personal development of operational employees, rather than their projects. Up to $6,000 is available for the winner to use on expenses to undertake a professional development activity.

NSW conference in Canberra a great success
Over 700 water professionals came together in Canberra on 29 & 30 March 2017 for the WIOA NSW Conference & Exhibition. The event included the announcement of Shane Kimber from Shoalhaven Water as the NSW Operator of the Year. All of the winners are available here.
South Australian 2016 Operator of the Year announced
Congratulations to Daniel Partridge from SA Water who was announced as the winner of the inaugural award in SA. Daniel will join other WIOA members on the tour to NZ in May thanks to the support of TAFE SA who sponsored the award.
